MDA renewed the interior of an 1860’s townhouse, maintaining the historic detail on the parlor level and inserting clean spare modern details in the other areas. The top floor which lacked any existing detail was completely reconfigured to become an open loft-like master bedroom suite with clean spare detailing and bamboo finishes. The space in the master bath, master bedroom, dressing room and studio is divided by sliding resin panels and which permit an open flow of light, views, and movement from one space to the next.
